- Approximately how long have you been doing CrossFit?
I’ve been doing CrossFit for about nine months. - What initially got you started with CrossFit?
I wanted to be active, but I could never enjoy going to a conventional gym and just going through the motions every day. I started CrossFit and realized quickly that going to a gym can be incredibly fun and exciting. - All Level CrossFit's core values are Authentic, Driven, and Inclusive. Which one do you relate to the most?
I would say Driven. - Why do you relate to this core value the most?
I think doing CrossFit has pushed me far beyond what I thought I could do with my body already. Trying new things, failing gymnastics movements, or needing practice on things has driven me even further. - What do you most look forward to when you come to the gym?
When I come to the gym, no matter what happens during my workout, I know I’ll be leaving better and healthier than I was when I walked in. - What is your favourite memory or most memorable moment at All Level CrossFit so far?
Magically getting pull-ups during the CrossFit Open. - Please list one or two specific goals you've set for yourself in CrossFit that you've successfully achieved.
Lifting over 300 lbs and being able to do a chest-to-bar pull-up. - What are your current primary goals in CrossFit?
My primary goals right now are to build a better base strength level and be able to consistently do INTERMEDIATE workout weights. - What advice do you have for someone who is "on the fence" or hesitant about starting CrossFit?
I would tell them that going to CrossFit and having a coach guide you and push you will help you work smarter, safely, and harder than you might push yourself. Results come quickly when you have the experience of a coach helping you. - How has your overall experience at All Level CrossFit improved your life outside of the gym?
It’s helped mainly with energy, confidence, and my sleep. I’ve lost a lot of weight doing CrossFit, so I look and feel a lot better. Doing small things doesn’t feel so hard anymore. - On a scale of 1 to 10, how strongly do you feel that CrossFit has helped improve your life outside of the gym?
10/10.
