1. How long have you been doing CrossFit? What got you started?
15 months and not planning on stopping. I love CrossFit. I started because I needed more of a push. Doing the same rotation of workouts at the gym wasn't working for me.
2. What aspect of our core values of authentic, driven, and inclusive do you relate to the most? Why?
Driven i like to see people pushing themselves and others in the gym.
3. What do you most look forward to when you come to the gym?
Waking up and getting a good workout in always sets the tone for a good day. I like learning new skills and doing stuff like running and air bike that I'd never do on my own. Getting tips from different coaches is also really good. I improved faster and better posture while working out.
4. What is your favourite memory at All Level CrossFit?
The fight like Mason marathon row was awesome.
5. What goals have you set for yourself in CrossFit that you’ve successfully achieved? What are your current goals?
My goals were to be able to double unders, toes to bar and bar muscle up.
My current goal is to be prepared for a half marathon I'm running in September and to continue to unlock new skills and improve every other ones.
6. What advice do you have for someone who’s on the fence about starting CrossFit?
Don't think too much just start.
7. How has your experience at All Level CrossFit improved your life outside of the gym?
Big improvement in my energy. I can play with my kids a lot more now. My body feels better. no more weird back or hip pain, only sore from working out.
