All Leveler for January 2026--Dilan S!

1. How long have you been doing CrossFit? What got you started? I started in April 30, 2025.
I did CrossFit 10 years ago for a month back in Sri Lanka right before I moved to Canada. That one month I saw changes physically and mentally, but never got the opportunity to continue in Canada. After a few years, I wanted to get back and give it a shot again. I came to all-level. 

2. What aspect of our core values of authentic, driven, and inclusive do you relate to the most? Why? Driven -is the core value I relate to the most. I’m someone who believes in consistent effort, showing up even on the hard days, and always looking for ways to improve—whether that’s physically, mentally, or as part of a team. Progress doesn’t come from shortcuts, but from discipline and commitment, and that mindset aligns closely with how I approach fitness and life.

3. What is your favourite memory at All Level CrossFit? The JD Classic CrossFit Competition 2025

5. What goals have you set for yourself in CrossFit that you’ve successfully achieved? What are your current goals? CrossFit- like to Master kipping pull-ups, Double unders and handstand pushups by end of 2026 
Current Goals- focus on  staying consistent balance diet, get a minimum of 4-5 days workouts and improve skills at CrossFit 

6. What advice do you have for someone who’s on the fence about starting CrossFit? Don’t judge it by what you see online. Walk into a gym, talk to the coaches, and try a class. CrossFit is scalable to every fitness level, and no one expects you to be an expert on day one. What really sets it apart is the community—people encouraging each other, celebrating progress, and showing up together. If you’re willing to be open-minded and consistent, CrossFit can meet you exactly where you are and help you become stronger, more confident, and healthier over time.

7. How has your experience at All Level CrossFit improved your life outside of the gym?
Noticeably improved my energy levels, allowing me to stay more focused and productive throughout the day both at work and at home. The discipline of showing up consistently has carried over into my daily routine, helping me manage stress better and stay mentally sharp. It’s also built my confidence to take on challenges at work and in life, while teaching me patience, resilience, and how to push through discomfort in a healthy, sustainable way.
