1. How long have you been doing CrossFit? What got you started?
It’s been 9 months. My husband inspired me, and I remember walking into the All Level Gym for a non-profit event, which I was working with. I was so elated to be in that space and meet the coaches; that was the final push of encouragement I needed to say yes :)
2. What aspect of our core values of authentic, driven, and inclusive do you relate to the most? Why? I
love that everyone is welcome at All Level CrossFit. They truly have a way of making you feel at home. This quality really helped me feel at ease while learning something completely new.
3. What do you most look forward to when you come to the gym?
The wonderful coaches and the fabulous community. It’s always a good time at the gym. Every coach I have worked with, Steph, Zack, and John, has been so kind. They meet me exactly where I am and help me push my own limits in such a warm and nonjudgmental way.
4. What is your favourite memory at All Level CrossFit?
I remember my first PR while doing a deadlift. Thank you to Coach Steph for pushing me and being so confident in my abilities. I felt physically empowered after a long, long time.
5. What goals have you set for yourself in CrossFit that you’ve successfully achieved? What are your current goals?
I never knew how to jump rope, and I truly never thought I would be able to learn it. I am so glad that I now know most of it. My current goal is to stay consistent, balance yoga and CrossFit, and really listen to my body. I would love to find that sweet spot of balance and flow.
6. What advice do you have for someone who’s on the fence about starting CrossFit?
“Just show up;” you are your only limit, and it only gets better 🙂
7. How has your experience at All Level CrossFit improved your life outside of the gym?
It has helped me gain confidence and truly believe in my capabilities. CrossFit felt like the hardest thing I could take on, and I am so grateful that I have access to this wonderful form of fitness, guided by such a lovely and supportive community.

1. How long have you been doing CrossFit? What got you started?
I started CrossFit in 2018 in Michigan. At the time, I was doing Krav Maga, and one of my friends there suggested I try CrossFit to improve my strength and conditioning. I decided to give it a shot, and it worked like a charm. I quickly fell in love with the training style and the results I was seeing.
2. What aspect of our core values of authentic, driven, and inclusive do you relate to the most? Why?
I relate the most to inclusive. Since moving to Windsor in 2022 and joining All Level CrossFit, I’ve never looked back. The community is incredibly welcoming, and you truly feel right at home. No matter where you’re starting from, you’re met where you are and supported with patience, warmth, and thoughtful feedback. That sense of inclusiveness makes a huge difference.
3. What do you most look forward to when you come to the gym?
I look forward to the energy and the people. There’s something incredibly motivating about walking into a space where everyone is working toward becoming better versions of themselves. The encouragement and camaraderie make every workout something I genuinely look forward to, especially now that I work from home and do not meet people every day.
4. What is your favourite memory at All Level CrossFit?
One of my favourite memories is from JD Classic 2025. I had never competed in a CrossFit competition before. I had been working on my bar muscle-ups for many months, and finally being able to do them while being cheered on by the community was truly the cherry on top.
5. What goals have you set for yourself in CrossFit that you’ve successfully achieved? What are your current goals?
When I started, my main goal was to build strength and be able to do the basics confidently. Currently, my goal is to keep adding more movements under my belt, like ring muscle-ups and handstand walks.
6. What advice do you have for someone who’s on the fence about starting CrossFit?
Don’t compare yourself to others. You own your journey. Everyone starts somewhere, and progress looks different for each person. Show up, trust the process, and focus on becoming better than you were yesterday.
7. How has your experience at All Level CrossFit improved your life outside of the gym?
CrossFit has improved my confidence, discipline, and mental resilience. The consistency and accountability I’ve built in the gym carry over into other areas of my life. It has helped me approach challenges with a stronger mindset and a belief that steady effort leads to meaningful results. It also showed me the power of community. A strong community can truly help you become better. It has also helped me pick up other sports and carry that confidence into them and into other areas of my life in general.
