1a. Approximately how long have you been doing CrossFit?
10 years on and off
1b. What initially got you started with CrossFit?
I was sitting at a desk all day and my body was paying for it — I was dealing with chronic back and neck pain and knew I needed to make a change. I needed to find a way to keep my body moving and feeling strong, and CrossFit turned out to be exactly that.
2a. All Level CrossFit's core values are Authentic, Driven, and Inclusive. Which one do you relate to the most?
DRIVEN
2b. Why do you relate to this core value the most?
It's easy to give up on yourself and your goals — we all know that feeling. For me, staying motivated is everything, and being part of this community makes that so much easier. Showing up and seeing everyone push toward their goals, regardless of their age or fitness level, keeps me positive and driven. We lift each other up, and that energy is contagious.
3. What do you most look forward to when you come to the gym?
The community. There's something special about working out as part of a team — it never feels like you're just going through the motions alone. Everyone is in it together
4. What is your favorite memory or most memorable moment at All Level CrossFit so far?
Working out with Julia on a Saturday partner workout. She is one talented athlete — the energy is high, the teamwork is real, and moments like that remind me exactly why I love being here.
5a. Please list one or two specific goals you've set for yourself in CrossFit that you've successfully achieved.
I've lost over 20 lbs since last year — something I'm really proud of. And this year I completed the full Murph workout in under an hour, which felt incredible.
5b. What are your current primary goals in CrossFit?
Right now I'm working toward getting my first strict pull-up. It's a work in progress.
6. What advice do you have for someone who is 'on the fence' or hesitant about starting CrossFit?
Just try it. Walk in and feel for yourself how welcoming everyone is — it's hard to describe until you experience it. You don't need to be at any particular fitness level. You don't need to keep up with anyone. You just need to want to move better, and this place will meet you exactly where you are.
7. How has your overall experience at All Level CrossFit improved your life outside of the gym? (e.g., energy levels, confidence, stress management)
My energy levels have gone up and my stress has gone way down. Working out is my reset , it clears my mind and honestly feels like it restores my soul. Whatever is weighing on me when I walk in, I leave it on the floor.
8. On a scale of 1 to 10, how strongly do you feel that CrossFit, in general, has helped improve your life outside of the gym?
10- Without question. CrossFit has changed my life.
