CrossFit is for anyone, but it isn’t for everyone.
Anyone can do CrossFit. As skilled and experienced coaches we pride ourselves on being able to scale a workout to fit anyone’s current fitness level and needs. As the methodology says, “our needs differ by degree not kind.” Meaning the Olympic athlete and the 80 year old grandma both need to move and lift weights, but the way we put that into practice for each is going to be quite different.
Although we can modify, scale and Coach CrossFit for anyone, it isn’t for everyone.
CrossFit is hard. It is demanding physically and mentally. You have to be prepared to work hard. To be sore. To keep showing up. To not know how to do things. To be a beginner. You have to be willing to learn. To be coached. To be told you are doing it wrong. To be last in the class.
But if you are willing to keep showing up, to keep learning. To check your ego at the door and focus on what you can do, not what everyone else is doing. The results are magic. You’ll get stronger physically and mentally. You will gain confidence. You will learn new skills. You will become healthier than you have ever been. You will be able to do more for yourself and your family than ever before. You’ll make lifelong friends. You will be a part of an amazing community that does great things together. You’ll be a crossfitter and you’ll never look back.
So what do you say? Are you ALL in?
