Life is never straightforward. There are always ebbs and flows, zigs and zags. The same holds true for your fitness. In fitness and in life, you have to keep moving forward.
For almost all of my life, I prided myself on being physically active. In good health. Then for about 4 years I stopped being active and ate and drank way too much. Near the end of that stretch, I was afraid to step on a scale. I had become unhealthy and I was unhappy. Luckily for me, a friend introduced me to CrossFit and I have never looked back. I now make sure I prioritize my health above almost everything else. I still have fun, but I'm playing the long game and I plan on being in it for a long, long time.
I love helping "ordinary" people accomplish things they never thought possible. I love watching small victories snowball into massive changes. I love getting people to see all the things they can do and not the things they can't. I'm a life-long learner and I love passing on that knowledge to our members.
