CF Quarterfinalist 2021, 2022
Did I mention that I like burpees?
From a young age, I have always been involved with organized sports. From fastball, ballet, and even football, I’ve tried it all. My all-time fav sport was rugby which I played for over 10 years. The highlight of my rugby career was during my time at Brock University - go badgers!
Following my competitive rugby career, I continued to play Club Rugby throughout the summer months in Chatham. Although I enjoyed the social aspects of the game, my competitive drive began to dwindle for me. Following University I was working as a receptionist and boot camp instructor for a local gym in Chatham. One day one of the Personal Trainers asked me if I would like to try CrossFit. My turning point was realizing that there was SO much more to fitness than just playing organized sports for over 19 years. I was instantly hooked and my competitive drive was lit again. Here I am, 10 years into CrossFit, and I haven’t looked back once.
I have been a CrossFit Trainer since 2013. I am motivated to coach people from all walks of life. From Regional competitors to the 70-year-old who has never stepped foot in a gym, my true passion for coaching lies in helping people achieve their full potential. I have a keen eye for Olympic Weightlifting and any High Skill gymnastics movement. However, as a Physiotherapist Assistant, I also enjoy helping people overcome injury and restore functionality in their daily living both inside and outside of the gym.
